Laos - Vieng Vang

My favorite city so far, I mean the 4000 islands is impressive, the loop is Wonderfull but being vang has something magic, something different. We check in at the Champaloa Bungalows and got a room with view for 70 000. Far from the traffic of the city and the terrace look directly on the mountains.

We are kind of tired and wanted to take this day to relax but … time fly and we then decided to go to the Tubbing experience. It’s 2 pm the Tuk Tuk bring us up the hill after paying 115 000 for the tub (60 000 deposit in case we loose the tub). The water is clear not that deep, it does not look dangerous at all but we still are super carful. To reach the 1st bar and get off the water, a guy send you a rope with a bottle of water. The music, the water spray and the people all of it look great, we get into the move with 1 and 2 buckets, I did not plan that my closes and all the money will be all wet, everyone have a waterproof bag except us, but wet money is accepted so we are good. After the 1st bar, time to take the tubbing to the 2, 3, 4 bars before heading back to the sore for taking a Tuk Tuk back before the area get completely dark. The Tuk Tuk back is not included we have to borrow money 20 000 for two to get back and pay with our deposit.

On the way home we found those amazing sandwiches bacon, chicken, onion for 15 000, 11 is enough for 2 that will work for dinner.

A shower later and we join the Chilao bar, they offer 1 hour of free whisky. The atmosphere is great, pool, fus table everyone is then heading to Saura bar … What an experience there as well it’s full of Corean people on the dance floor and their dance move does not allow you at all to move anywhere so let’s buy some beers. There we met 2 other Americans girls best friend since ever, they are just awesome and to escape the Corean crowd we play some beer pong, the other backpackers got jealous and join the move. Sakura is a bit to much let’s go to Diva where the night finish dancing and talking around.

Today as planned is our relaxing day massage, nails, nap we enjoy the city walk a bit around. The Lao massage is that intense that I got sore body for a week but its part of it.

We join the American girls for the last day and we have been tubbing, eating Mexican nachos and then a corona BBQ. Just a nice foodie girl days time to head to Luang Prabang.
