From Lyon to Flensburg : this is the theme of this summer holidays.
In fact, we need to bring my Kangoo in the north of Germany in order to build the inside design. My sister loves takins plan and my step dad loves driving and everything link with car, so what else than a round of all the cars factories in Germany. To finish we will go to Danemark all together to visit LegoLand.
Our tour began in Stutgart, 6 hours from our place where we started visiting Porshe museum. It took us less than 2 hours, we had lunch at the boxengo and heads up to Mercedes.
Mercedes was the most impressive museum that we have done during the all trip, with the audio guide in French we cold have follow all along the way the stories of the brand and their differents car from the race car to the bus, we had also the chance to see the different evolution of the cars and the passion for traveling growing. Maps of the road started to be created such as material for pick nic etc.
This night we slept in a nice hotel not far from Mercedes Museum where we had the famous German food.
In the morning, we drove to Munich for visiting the BMW museum, it took us 3 hours. The museum has no proper orders but nice old cars are presented there, some of them have even an entire room dedicated to them. You can follow the all visit on your phone via their application and free wifi.
The visit was quit fast, we arrived at the hotel Super 8 Munich around 5 and decided to find a new activity : the largest water park in the world is actually 40 minutes drive from Munich, so we took Baracouda (our Mercedes Vito) and drove to what is supposed to be the largest spa in the world. After 2 drinks at the bar, it gets boring, let's go to eat. We found this amazing meat restaurant in Munich.
The next morning a long road is in front of us, first stop to the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, we have to eat fast, walk fast and buy present the fastest way we can because we still have 2 ;ore hours driving to Hamburg to pick up my sister at the airport and 2 more hours to reached Flensburg where we will sleep before LegoLand. HOP HOP HOP no time to waist we got a burger and ask for the best things to visit.
It's already 10 pm in Hamburg we are waiting for my sister to arrive ... She is there !!! Let's go to sleep, tomorrow Legoland is waiting for us.
Our road trip ended in lego land, they left in the next morning back to France while I am staying in Flensburg to build HomeFlex.
